Shopping @ Yorkdale Mall
Spent the day at Yorkdale Shopping Mall. Yorkdale is one of my favorite malls of all! Why must I say that? Because it has all the brand names stuff you can name
. LV, Burberry, Lacoste, etc etc etc… They have every brand in there and it’s a huge mall!
I exaggerated a little, not the WHOLE day, but for a few hours at the mall from 2pm to 430pm. We walked around the whole mall to window shop and look at some new clothing that just came out. Kind of restricting myself from buying cloths because of my weight issue right now! I will allow myself to buy cloths after I lose the amount of weight! Yes, I’m still working on it, but it is hard!
What I got today was pretty much useful things. I wanted to try out face primer because I never use a primer before. Well for eye shadow yeah, but not the foundation primer. I believe it makes your face less sticky and it feels a lot better. I bought the NARS brand to try it out, if I don’t like it, I’ll buy another brand next time. The NARS one coste about $46.00CDN. Thanks baby for getting me it
Secondly, I bought another pair of TNA pants. I love these TNA pants because it’s so soft and it fits so well. Unlike jeans, its hard and uncomfortable! It costed like $97.00CDN a pair, but well worth it!
Look what I got
NARS face primer (will do a review on it, after I experiment it)
TNA pants. my 4th pair.
Do you wear TNA pants?
Friendship Keychains
Made this for my lovelies. Hope you guys like it

Early mornings
It is now 10AM in the morning and you must be thinking, why is she up so early? It is because I have an interview at 11AM at Markville Mall at Please Mum. She called me last Thursday & Friday and in which I told the lady, I’ll be going on vacation, she can surely contact me after my vacation. Than she calls the next day saying she knows I’ll be away but wants an interview with me anyways. I’m like sure. I handed out these resumes months ago and I finally get a call for an interview… Well if I don’t get the job, there’s nothing to lose, because I gain interview experiences.
I’m leaving my house in about 14minutes, let me tell you. These YRT buses takes years to come. They have a long gap in between. Some are even one hour long! If you miss it and you have work, YOUR SCREW! That’s why getting my G2 is mandatory when I get back from my vacation. There’s a lot to do when I get back from my vacation… A LOT and here’s a list of it.
- apply for my health card (yeah I lost mine :S)
- apply for driving lessons
- insurance classes
- apply for g2 driving test
- apply for jobs (MUST)
That’s a lot of things eh? The big one is driving lessons, that’ll take a few months to be completed. I use to think I really don’t need to drive and with all these reckless drivers in town, it scares me to death. I wonder how much my insurance will be after owning my first car leh????? I just want to get a small car to start off with. First I was thinking the Mercedes Smart Car. LOL It is small enough like a toy car and it’ll be quite easy to park! But my fiances’ like that car is dangerous and told me to get a mini cooper instead. I gotta see how the job hunting goes when that time comes, I better get a job because INSURANCE isn’t cheap in Toronto!!! :S
Wonderful Day
Woke up in the morning at around 11AM (yes I still call it morning because I usually wake up at 1pm) and called mom to see when she’s coming to pick me up for lunch and to go downtown to get the China Visa done. We ate lunch at Lemongrass and headed to Bloor & St. George right after. There was no traffic on the highway (surprisingly), it only took us like less than half an hour to get there. But oh em gee, the line up was LONG! After 1.5hour of wait, it was finally our turn. Let me tell you, the CHINESE people that works there is COMPLETELY rude! They don’t seem to like to answer your questions and gives you nasty looks. That totally pissed me off. Like I mean, you can be like that in your OWN country, but this is CANADA okay. Gosh. I wish there was another place to get our China Visa done. Like seriously, can’t stand these rude people.
The huge line up. We were only half way there!!!
After the long line up, we headed back to Scarborough back to my stepmoms place. Waited for baby to come pick me up at 6:30PM for a triple date dinner with 2 of my BBF since grade7?grade8?grade9? Well let’s just say many many many years.
Don’t we look different girls?
We spent the night chit chatting about random things and my wedding things. =) I miss them already. Too bad we didn’t take couple picturess! Totally forgot about it. We had dinner at Joons located at Yonge & sheppard. For the rest of the entry. Visit passion4food
picking the right place for your wedding venue…
Ka Lung Court Restaurant 嘉麟閣海鮮酒家 – the new restaurant at Times Square
What do my fiance & I look for when we look for our wedding venue?
- interior of the restaurant (MUST)
- the food
- dishes (yes, I like unique dishes)
- price
- location
- the view
- large stage to fit our us and our brides maid/grooms man
- lighting (Very important)
- serving staffs; excellence is a MUST
Are we picky? I thought my fiance was picky, but when it comes down to details, I’m the VERY picky one eh. But most importantly, we have connections in this lovely Chinese cuisine Restaurant! Can’t wait till next July!
they have the perfectest view! loving the interior. Hop over to passion4food for more pictures
wedding frustrations
I’ve just came back from the Church to discuss our wedding ceremony and paperwork… There’s more than you think there is….
- proof that you weren’t previously married from before (if your are re-marrying, your not allow to be marry in a church again.)
- cannot be living together (uhhhhh we made up a lie….)
- in order for my fiance to proof he didn’t marry before, he needs to contact HK church to get proof)
- in order for me to proof I didn’t marry before, my mom needs to swear to god……
- relationship council classes x3
I think there was much more than just this…..
I thought it wasn’t all that complicated…. till we sat down and talk to the church councilor.
Grateful for wonderful in-laws
Ever since I lived here, my fiance’s parents had treated me really well.
I had my braces tightened on Tuesday and i couldn’t eat anything yesterday, so my MIL (Mother In Law) made me congee. I was going to make it myself, but she wanted to make it… Not only that she helped me make congee, her thoughtfulness of making other kinds of food too. Like jello, soup and eggs. Food that is soft enough for me to chew. You see why I’m so grateful?
I was sick last night right after dinner with a fever of 101F, they would come check up on me and see how I was feeling.
Even for our wedding, they never have any suggestions because they know how stressful a wedding is. They would just let us do whatever we want or how we want it.
I believe its VERY important to have understanding in laws. I’m forever grateful.
OL Supreme 女王辦公室 && A Fistful of Stances 鐵馬尋橋 && In The Eye Of The Beholder 秋香怒点唐伯虎
I was being lazy for the past few days and just concentrated on my TVB dramas. I know, you must be thinking, she watches drama 24/7? hahaha I can if there was the whole episode to entertain me for the whole day. But yes, I did watch dramas most of the time and the 3 dramas I’m currently watching is:
OL Supreme 女王辦公室
If your going to start watching this drama, be aware, its 60 episode long! but each episode is about 22minutes. It talks about family and work life basically.
A Fistful of Stances 鐵馬尋橋
This is a fairly new drama that just came out a week ago! It seems to be a quite confusing episode because the storyline from the past and present goes back and forth and back and forth. Gets me irritated.
In The Eye Of The Beholder 秋香怒点唐伯虎
This drama is almost half done. It’s on episode 13 today and all together it ends on episode 20. So far this drama is funny!

DIY Pedicure
- Find a bin and fill it up with Hot water; Soak your feet into the hot water and relax
- dry your foot and file your toe nails
- put dividers to separate your toes
- paint your toe nails to whatever color you desire
- wait till it dries, than your ready to go
How simple can that get?? I used to get my pedicure and manicure done out in salons, but ever since I quit my part time job. I stopped. Doing nails for myself is as fun than being pampered in the salon. The only problem is, the nail polish taking too long to dry because of the many coats I put on. That’s like the only problem I ever have. What about you? Do you enjoy getting pamper out at a salon or DIY and being creative?
Cross Stitching
This piece of work took me about two whole days to be finished! When i start on something, it’s very hard to tell me to leave it down. When I was at the mall, I wanted to go home right away to just finish this. I just wanted to see what the finish picture was. Here it is. What do you all think?
& the after mess. JOY!
