Engagement Party

Planning a wedding is a lot of work already, but imagine Engagement parties… People usually have their engagement out at a restaurant or a ball room, but we’re planning to have it at my Fiance’s parents home. Yes! Gathered around with his family, my family, his friends and my friends is going to be a lot of people.

Have I planned out such an big event yet? Not yet… I’ve been stalling. Everyone has been asking how my wedding planning is and I give them back a smile and go “uhhhhhh not quite yet, we’re being lazy”. I keep thinking we still have a lot of time left and why must we plan so early? When that time hits, I’m going to be cramming.

I’ve looked through some food platters for our engagement party and the party is going to be around July, one of the Saturdays, in case people have work on weekdays. My plan is to open up the backyard and put chairs and tables outside to have more room that way. >_____<”

Vacation Date

Vacation date is set to April 8th 2010 to May 20th 2010m! It’s more like a month and a half trip, but I guess that’s alright. No need to rush to get things done because I have 2 more weeks extra to do other things!

This WILL be the longest time for my Fiance and I not seeing each other. When we started dating, the max we didn’t see each other was probably 3 days, but this time 6 whole weeks. I wonder how we’re going to handle it. It’s going to be hard, but it’ll be so worth it. Why? Because the feeling of missing him. I hardly get this feeling anymore, because we see each other like every day now. Plus, it’s my first time going on vacation without him after this 1.5 years of being together. I know he could of take time off to come with me, but his vacation days are only 2 weeks! Mind as well, wait till I get back and we’ll go on another vacation together eh?

I do have fears in going to China… Why must I say that? It’s because I hear all these stories… How it’s super dangerous. Therefore, I’m not going to wear any jeweleries back or even carry a lot of money with me. It’s scary I tell you. Plus, we don’t have a male coming with us. :S

Anyhows, I’ll probably be going away for Easter Holiday to spend some quality time with my Fiance just before I head to China. We were thinking, probably New York? Any suggestions ? or even Washington DC? I really don’t know… Give me suggestions guys!!!

Hair Treatment

I used to take pictures every month with only myself in it. But lately, I just didn’t feel like a camera whore taking pictures of myself. But here it is again! Look how long my hair now is? I don’t plan on cutting it short anytime. Maybe a trim.

My hair plays a big part in my life because it gives me a lot of problem and it’s always in the way. Plus, don’t forget it does tangle up EVERY DAY. Sometimes I do get fed up with it. Maybe I should use some hair un-tangle shampoo? Is there even such thing out in the market right now? hahaha. I wish there is, so I don’t have to be pulling my hair our while I comb it. I lose a lot of hair a day!! But nevermind, I still want to keep them. Crazy eh? I only cut them once a year and use to dye it a lot. But not anymore. All I ever do is put shampoo & conditioner on my hair. I should really do more than this, but my laziness takes over. Honestly, my hair isn’t all that dry even if I dyed it that many times or even straighten it every day.

Sometimes….. I just wonder how I would look like when I’m bald! LOL. I probably freak my other half out eh? Gotta be really brave to be bald and I’m not the brave one to do sucha thing !!! Are you??

First Home Buyers

I wish though, one day I can live in such a big house like this and have maids doing this and that for me and security guards outside guarding my house. What a dream. Living that kind of glamorous life, that means my other half have to be a Broker one day for this to happen and for him to make millions.

Since you all know that we’re getting married next year, we are not yet looking for our first home together. We plan to live at his parents house for another 5 to 6 years till the Baby gets older. Why such a decision? It’s all because we need to save up and the more we have for down payment, the better it is. Plus, his parents don’t mind us living here till whenever we want to leave. At the moment, we are living in the basement and the basement has almost a thousand sq ft, which includes the laundry room/pantry. Plus upstairs has 3 rooms empty, if we decide to move back upstairs, that’s another option there.

So our first home will be put off to 5-6years later, after we save a big chunk of money

Shopaholic

I have to admit, I used to be a shopaholic back in my high school years, where I buy stuff that I have no use for. But now it has all changed. It is hard, I tell you!!! It is never easy to change an habit. When I had a part time job back in my high school years, my paycheque goes to the mall without thinking. I never had money left over. How bad can that be eh?

How did this shopaholic become a non-shopaholic anymore? I still want to buy things. But when your at the mall and in the shop, just simply ask yourself “do you need it? what do you need this item for?” Than you’ll know if you should get it or not. And to prevent from buying things, I just simply don’t go to the mall anymore if I don’t need anything.

Does that even sound like me? hahaha. I mean, my Fiance will get me anything I want and if I want something, every time he would ask “what is this for”. I need to give explanations of things I want to get if I’m with him. It’s not being cheap, it’s being _________ (I just lost the word).

Circa Night Club

Spent Saturday night with the ladies.

It was very last minute that I decided to go clubbing with them. Because a week ago, when they asked me to join them, I told them I had work, but since I don’t have work no more. Mind as well go and have some fun right? I need to enjoy life more instead of sitting at home and watch dramas. I need to see the sunlight more. I know in two to three years, I won’t have this kind of fun because I’ll be having a kid (my plan). I had a funny conversation with my other half two nights ago…

ME: aww I won’t be going clubbing anymore after having a baby..
HIM: Well you can still go, maybe like once in awhile..
ME: But whose going to take care of the kid?
HIM: I will.

His words melt my heart because he’ll be taking his part of the responsibilities. I know I can still go have fun with my friends, but I need to know my limits still in the future, because I’ll be having my own family in 2 to 3 years. Can’t be party animals anymore right?

DIY French Manicure

Spent an hour painting my nails today! Too much time on my hands eh? Usually people would go out and spend around $30-$40 for a french manicure, but I prefer to do it myself because I have the time to. Follow the steps.

1. I used the Sally Hansen Nail hardener due to my nails are very soft and it breaks/chips really easily.
2. I prefer OPI white because of the quality. It doesn’t chip as easily

1. Apply a coat of the hardener if your nails are soft, if not, than OPI base coat.

1. Apply OPI nail polish on tip. It all depends on how thick you want it to be. I added a little more than just the tip. I added the golden lines to make it more unique.
2. After apply top coat, than your done.

TIP:

when applying nail polish on tips, your hands must not shake otherwise, you can’t make a straight line through!

OHHHHHHHHHH… How I miss the Caribbeans!

WHY? Because of all these reasons….

2. buffet morning till night. ALL inclusive
3. stress free
4. the beautiful weather
5. relaxation
6. aqua blue waterrrr (I know its clear, but the water is so beautiful)
7. the feeling of just being with him
8. & again FOOOOOOOOD. We basically ate whenever we want without paying. The feeling is good, going into the restaurant without needing to pay.
