Three Years Anniversary

I still look back to our very first date once in a while and everything just seemed so magical. Three years already – can you believe it? So much ups and downs these past three years and no matter how worst life gets – he stood by me with endless supports. I couldn’t ask for a better partner. People say I changed for him. But the truth is – I didn’t change for him, I adapted to his lifestyle and environment. From the very first date on – I knew he was the one – the one to walk this life long road with me.

We started dating when I was 19 and still in college. It’s just funny how everything started and I knew what I wanted at such a young age. I still tell my friends this “I wasn’t looking for a boyfriend – I was looking for a husband”. Like really? I was still a teen and I was ready to settle down. Which guy will believe that right? But I know deep down – I wasn’t joking and was pretty darn serious. I guess at that time – I had enough fun, enough screwing around with life, enough of everything, it was time to settle.

And here we are – three years later. The first year – I was his girlfriend. The second year – I was his fiancé. The third year – I was his wife. And next year – I will be his baby’s mama. It finally hit me today that we’ve created a little human being together and will be raising our kid ourselves. It will be something that will call “ours” forever.

I know there’s going to be many many years ahead of us – I’m just grateful that God given you to me. Happy anniversary my love.

Fish tank collections

My hubby is crazy about his aquarium but at least he’s not checking out other women as his hobby right? Joking joking. He spends way too much time and money on his tanks – I’m kind of getting annoyed. His fish tanks required a lot of his time to put together the way he wants it. You’ll be surprised how much he knows about fish now and all the equipment – I found out that this tank comes with a water softener, air purifier and what else? These crazy gadgets of his eh?

But I know when the baby comes along – all he’ll be doing is feeding the fish and not resembling the plants and rocks anymore. I can’t complain because it’s his hobby right? It’s just like – can’t complain about the amount of makeup I purchase. hehehe.

Fights and arguements with your other half?

My previous relationships is really different – fights and arguments seems to happen often because two views are different and those relationship never worked. But again – these past relationship made me learn and realized what I really want and deserve in a perfect relationship.

I’ve been with my other half for almost three years. These three years – we’ve gone through a lot of ups and downs but there were never any huge arguments or fights. At times – our relationship seems to be quite boring because we lack arguments but when I think about it – I actually cherish these peaceful moments. In these three years – we’ve accomplished a lot together. I knew he was the one after being with him the first month. Relationship is all about respecting one another and understanding. I feel very comfortable being with him and most importantly – his family. Being accepted into his family and being loved by them is important for our relationship. I gotta say – our relationship is one healthy one and it’ll always be this way.

He’s my life.

I’ve been complaining a lot how he doesn’t have time for me. It’s hard to spend time with each other when there’s really not enough time each day. This makes me appreciate and treasure the time we do spend together. I love how sometimes he’s very cheesy with his words – makes my tummy tingly. He doesn’t do it often but once in awhile he will pop up with something new. I used to think that I’m a very cheesy kind of girl – but really I’m not. Making out in public is just something that we wouldn’t do – what a weird couple huh?

Easter weekend!

We were at Niagara Falls for Easter Sunday last weekend. It was beautiful but not warm enough. Never mind – I had a great time with my other half and just spent the day with him walking around. Reminds us how our relationship started. Every year spring we will go to Niagara for a walk and just spend the day there. I thought this year would be a little different because of our busy schedule but thank god that we did have the time to stop by and actually do some shopping there too! Took a couple of pictures and had dinner there. It was just a fabulous day with him Makes me all smiley.

Baby Furniture

We were strolling around Toys R Us a few weeks ago and look what section we found? The biggest section was the “babies” section – it was pretty interesting because we got the chance to check out some prices. Boy – there’s so much things for babies – so much different gadgets but you know what? They grow up too fast. I can’t wait to get my hands on buying all these baby furniture and toys. It’s going to be really fun for sure but it is expensive though! Time to think of saving for a baby!

Valentines Day Gift?

Aren’t these decorations cute? I haven’t thought of what to get my other half yet – I’m planning to just get his wedding band for Valentines day since he got me the engagement ring. It’ll be cute because I don’t want him to get his own wedding band kind of thing. It’ll remind him of our 3rd time spending Valentine’s day together. First Valentines I spent with him – I was his girlfriend. Second Valentine I spent with him – I was his fiance. Third Valentines I’m spending with him – I’m still his fiance. Fourth Valentine which is next year – I’ll be his wife

Birthday gift for his mama

I already thought of a birthday present for my soon-to-be mother-in-law. It’s a necklace that says “MOM” on it. Isn’t it cute? I mean – my other half and his brother would NEVER thought of a present like this, because men aren’t as thoughtful as women. It’s always good to have a daughter eh? I want a daughter myself but whatever comes our way – we’ll love our child. I’m already thinking of a present for her birthday this year – when she becomes 60 – I gotta find the best 60th birthday gifts for her, because 60 is a really special number. Now this makes me wonder what I’m going to be receiving when I turn 60. lol.

Yesterday was a very relaxing day…

I was going to do some online work before I head out shopping yesterday but nope – that did not happen because I got a bit lazy and did some beauty things instead. I got my nails done and I also got a face steam before going out. That wasted my 3-4 hours before I got ready to go out. Yes – there goes my day but I enjoyed it in a very relaxing way! Taking care of myself and my health is the number one thing I look at now. I’m not that young anymore. I never really care about my health when I was young – now it’s a different story.

When my other half came home from work – we left the house immediately and dropped off a bottle of wine to his clients house – than headed down to Yorkdale Mall – thought there would be a traffic jam and parking lot jam – but not at all – everything seems so smooth yesterday. I had to get his birthday present and yesterday was the only time to get it. Plus – I had to go get it by myself and leave it in his car without letting him know what I got him. It was hard but mission accomplished! He’ll know on his birthday and I hope he likes it *cross fingers* – nope I didn’t buy gold bullion for him – so if your guessing that – your wrong.

Anyways – after shopping we headed out for dinner – by the time we got to All Stars – it was already 10PM and I was starving! Good thing it was Wings Night. YUMM. All in all – I had a relaxing day. What about you?

Cute Christmas Decorations

Aren’t these bears cute? I had to put them together on the tree!!! Anyways – that was very random – Christmas is around the corner and I’m almost done with the Christmas presents!!! Can’t wait to put it all under the tree and when Christmas day comes – they can search and find there’s! I’ve gotten my present from my other half already – because he doesn’t like to buy something that I wouldn’t like. So – he usually asks me what I want and have in mind. He wanted to get me something from Tiffany Co – but I have a few things from there already – don’t really want anything from there. Want to know what I got from him this year?
