Where is summer?
Remember how I was saying how lovely March was and it felt like summer? Now – it’s April and it feels like winter. What is going on here Toronto? I just can’t wait till the summer – where I can go out and not wear so much layers. I’m not even lying – I was just wearing my winter jacket earlier when I went out for dinner. How horrible can that be in April right? There’s so much to do this summer and I just can’t wait! I like to have things planned ahead – so I look forward for it. I think this summer I’m going to do something a little different and it’s to get a tan! I’m pretty pale all year round – so I wonder how I would look like if I’m a bit tanned? We’ll see – I’m going to look for the best sunless tanning spray to help me with it. I’ll take pictures and compare it!
Munchkin’s photo shoot
This is another backdated post. We had munchkin’s first photo shoot done when he was 9 days old. We wanted to capture him when he was still a newborn. We are just collecting memories and one day he’s going to be looking at these photos when he’s older. The photos came out awesome and I had over 400 photos developed for family and friends. Yep – 400 photos! I can’t wait to do his next photo shoot when he’s about half a year old. I think I would want to do a photo shoot each year for him – but would that be too much? Maybe only on special occasions? His birthday?
My Office Space Area
Not really an office for me anymore eh? I hardly sit in my office these days – more like I spend more time on the bed sleeping with my munchkin. But I do plan on getting a computer cart – so it’s much m ore convenient for me to do my work while I’m in bed snuggling with him. Babies seriously grow up way too fast – I want to enjoy every second with him. When he’s all grown up – he would never snuggle up with his parent again. Would I snuggle up with my parents? I don’t think so! Hahahahha.
Scrapbook for Special Events
I’m still enjoying my hobby! I feel like scrap-booking is the only creative side of me these days. I can’t draw or paint – so putting things together is the creative me. Do I still have time for it? Yep I do – scrap-booking doesn’t take too much time. All I need to do is print/pick out the photos and pick out some pretty decorations. I say a page would take less than half an hour for me now. When I started with scrap-booking – each page took about an hour but now that I got used to scrap-booking – it’s not as hard anymore. Do you scrapbook? I feel like scrap-booking is something fun and relaxing for me to do nowadays.
Tuxedo for babies
Such adorable thing I found at HomeSense winners the other day! I can’t wait till next month when we celebrate munchkin’s one month with friends – he’ll be showing off his tux/suit. Hopefully he fits in it. I’ve been enjoying shopping a lot more. Mainly buying baby clothes now and accessories for him. Everything changes when you have a little one eh? I use to only shop for myself and my other half but now? It’s only our munchkin! It would be cute if he was wearing this and playing a Factory Metal Percussion Drums eh?
Munchkin’s growth
For the first month – I’ve taken photos of the munchkin every single day. I just wanted to see his growth and see how much he changed. He sure did change a lot ever since the first day he’s born. Oh – how I miss the first couple of days. Though – it was super tiring because we weren’t used to it but he’s was so tiny and adorable. I miss holding a newborn baby already – as in a day or two days old baby!!!
Disney World Vacations
This is a must must must go if you have kids! I didn’t go when I was a kid – I did go when I was much older. Didn’t enjoy it as much as the kids did though. I’m already looking at different theme parks already. Not that we are going anytime soon but it’s good to get my research done early. I have to say – a week at Disney world is not enough – max is a week and a half. We plan to bring the munchkin when he’s about 6 or 7 years old – that’s when he will remember things and remember where he went to. My Work Station
I’m still blogging and working online! So here it is – my work station and taking care of a newborn at the same time! Sometimes he wants to be hold and sometimes he’s alright sitting on that cradle. But the thing is – I can never sit for a good two hours of work. It’s either he’s crying, he’s hungry, he needs a diaper change or I need to pump milk. That’s my life now and I know I will only get busier when the munchkin knows how to move around. Than I’ll be doing my blogging/online work during the night while he sleeps or when hubby is home from work. The sacrifices of taking care of a kid eh? Joy or what?
Hubby is a proud Papa
You really don’t need to hear my hubby saying “he’s proud” because it’s planted on his forehead already. Hubby’s been really supportive and helpful when he comes home from work – can’t ask for a better hubby. I take care of the munchkin during the day and night. When hub is back from work – he take cares of the munchkin till he sleeps. So far – this schedule is working pretty well with us. On his work day – I’m the one waking up in the middle of the night – so he won’t be too exhausted at work. I actually don’t mind waking up in the middle of the night because I’ve been an night owl for so many years BUT mornings is what kills me. I wonder how am I ever going to fix this sleeping schedule eh?
Medical System
A friend of mine have been teaching me about the medical field – well because he is graduating this year and loves to educate people about it. He taught me that doctors communication with each other is very important and that is why they created a system called “domixity”. It is a system to deliver fast and quick communication. He let me try the system out myself and Bruce Stewart MD came up in my area. I must say it’s pretty convenient – I’m happy for him that he enjoys what he will be doing for the rest of his life. That is to help people with medical needs.
