My Work Station

I’m still blogging and working online! So here it is – my work station and taking care of a newborn at the same time! Sometimes he wants to be hold and sometimes he’s alright sitting on that cradle. But the thing is – I can never sit for a good two hours of work. It’s either he’s crying, he’s hungry, he needs a diaper change or I need to pump milk. That’s my life now and I know I will only get busier when the munchkin knows how to move around. Than I’ll be doing my blogging/online work during the night while he sleeps or when hubby is home from work. The sacrifices of taking care of a kid eh? Joy or what?

Working from home

It’s been almost two years that I’ve been working from home – well I had a part time job along the way but never given up on what I did online because I feel like it’s a great opportunity to make money while being at home. These opportunities don’t come too often and I just don’t want to lose it. It’s like extra side pocket money to pay off bills and groceries in the future. Some says – it’s a lot of work but for me – if you work ahead of your schedule and plan ahead – it’s really not too much work. I’m starting to have web conferencing service and private advertisers contacting me. It gives me that exciting feeling knowing that there’s more in store for me. My plan is just to work harder towards my goal – so hopefully one day I make enough to stay home full time with my kid and not worry about finances. It feels great to feel independent and not needing to ask the husband for money. Do you call that women pride?

Working in my Home Office

I’ve been keeping myself busy ever since January hit – no more laziness around here and time to start making some money. I’ve been quite lazy last year and never really focus on my work and just doing everything so last minute. Pregnancy is an excuse to be lazy? Well – let’s just say I took a couple months of break off. Now that I’m finally feeling a bit better and not much time left – I’m taking things more serious. I’ve done a lot of research these days and one of them is unsecured business loans – there’s actually a lot into borrowing a loan for business and you gotta be careful on the policies and regulations eh! So don’t just go for any loan companies – find one that’s trustworthy.

Even though I’m more busy at home now. I feel like each day past by really fast and without knowing – I’ll be due with this baby. I just want to get a lot of things done before he arrives. It’s good to be productive and build up for my future. I’m just very blessed that I can work from home and not have to travel to go to work.

Blog Updates & Read Ups

It’s the 5th day of 2012! Ever since January 2012 – I’ve been quite busy and productive. I spent all day updating my blogs and keeping it all updated. Not all done yet but I can finally sit back and just relax a bit. Gotta start being productive and busy for the next 2 months or else I won’t get the chance or even the time to update anymore when the little guy is here.

I’ve been reading up on how to run a successful blog/webpage. It’s not as easy as you think it is. If you want to make good money – there’s a lot to it instead of just posting pictures and content. Yep – I got a lot more to read!

Making money online

I’ve been making money online for almost a year and one month now. It was such an exciting experience for me – more like a dream job. This process sure isn’t an easy one but it sure is rewarding. I never thought I could just type and make money this way. You don’t go rich in a year or two – it takes time to build up. But I do believe in this and I got a lot of hope that I can just stay home one day and work from my pajamas. Who wouldn’t like that right?

At this point in life – I’m still very appreciative and grateful of what my mentor and others taught me. This gives me an eye opening opportunity.

I’m tired

Yikes – it’s 2:30PM here in Toronto and I’m tired already? I still have a whole list of things to do before I shower and get ready for another church day! It’s been quite busy here for me. Especially with Easter coming up! Today’s Holy Thursday and I’ll be getting my foot wash at church – something new to learn.

I’ve been typing for an hour on my desktop trying to get all my online work done before I enjoy my day. I can’t really enjoy the day when on the back of my mind – there’s like work to do. It’s just hard – I gotta get everything done before I can enjoy myself. I’m a workaholic and I enjoy making money because I like spending it too. To my surprise – the amount of work this week has increased a lot! I’m loving it.

Gotta start cracking.

Sucha busy day!

Finally getting a day off but guess what? My other half didn’t end up going to work and he got sick. When he’s sick – I’m more busier than ever. Make him food – check his temperature – make sure he takes his medication, pour him liquid and what else? I felt like a nurse but when I’m sick – I’m more of an attention seeker. Can’t help it – I love his attention. I got up at 11 today to take a shower and than made him lunch. I started with my online work at 1 and ended up finishing everything by 4pm – multitasking slows down the process. Next time I just gotta focus on one thing. Although I was busy – I still end up checking out some laser barcode scanner online to compare the prices.

I didn’t have much time left because before I knew it was 5PM – I had to get ready for church and by 6 – I had dinner with the in-laws upstairs and washed the dishes. Here I am typing this post in a rush because I gotta make a cup of coffee in my travel mug to bring to church. Busy or what? I’m suppose to go to the post office today too – looks like I gotta wait till Thursday for that. Yikes.

Starbucks @ Unionville, Main Street

I was at Starbucks earlier with a friend of mine – while he was doing his homework – I did mine online work. Didn’t get much done because we were there only for an hour. I think I wouldn’t mind staying there for the entire day. I feel like when I stay home to get my online work done – I don’t get much done because there is so much to distract me. Maybe next time – I’ll walk to Starbucks to myself and stay there for the whole day till my other half gets off work to pick me up. It be nice to stay away from home for 6 hours. Do you do your work/homework in a coffee shop too?

Work & Swimming @ YMCA

Today was a pretty awesome day to begin with – received a text message from my other half about the stock market – don’t get me wrong – I’m not involved with it but he is. His good news is my good news. I don’t know much about it – all I care is when it goes up and not down. The rest is left for him to decide. I believe stock market has it’s own risk – but I don’t want to be too naggy as long as he’s playing it safe. I would buy gold bullion instead of investing but they all have there own risk right? Anyways – getting back on my day – woke up around 12ish and took a shower than made lunch for myself. Had work for the rest of the day and then we went swimming at YMCA – now we are just chilling and I’m just finishing off some work. WOOHOO for day off tomorrow. I’m getting some awesome reviews for myself at work and will be increasing hours to full time hours soon. 2011 is getting better and better!

Tips on starting your own website

Are you a blogger yourself? I’ve been a blogger for almost a year. Having your own domain name and using a different server is way different than signing up for the regular free blog sites. You gotta maintain your own website and how do you do that? For me – I had help with every tiny steps I made by my mentor. But what about the ones that don’t have anyone to guide them? That will be a bit hard. Lately I’ve found out something called “seo services” – the meaning of it is “search engine optimisation.” What does this service provide? It provides and helps with website development and designs. Pretty awesome eh? If I have a friend that is getting into getting her/his own domain – I’ll probably recommend this service to them – so it’ll make their lives easier instead of learning on their own. What about you? Do you have your own domain??
