Birthday Events
This is the second birthday party I’ve been to as of 2011 – this also reminds me that I’m getting old – I’m going to be 23 in 9 months. Can’t really believe that – I’m getting old and next year – I’ll be 24 and the year later 25. OH EM GEE – time is really flying by really quick. Gotta enjoy it while we can right? Capture all the moments we can and look back to it one day and laugh about it.
I love food!
Over the weekend I had a little reunion with my McDonald friends. It’s awesome seeing them after 3-4 years? I lost track but yes – it was fun having those updated talk. After this meal – I feel like diet pills is what I need next because of the amount of food I had that night. I felt so bloated and full. Celebration is always about good food – how can I resist right? I can only resist by not going to these special events – but that’s impossible. But I did go to the gym for the next couple of days for my punishment. I’ve been on a strict diet – its hard but I’m doing it for myself.
Girls night out
Since it’s winter – all I’ve been really doing is hibernating at home, at work or at the gym. When its with this freezing weather – I don’t feel like doing anything. I haven’t seen my friends for over a month and I gave in to see them – I love chilling with my girls. Miss the clubbing times but really – even if you pay me $100 to go – I will have to pass on that right now. But when spring hits – you know where were going for sure. Having fun once in awhile is what everyone needs. Anyways – went out to have dessert with my ladies and had a good two hours talk – just about life and future plannings. Its fun – but the place we went to – were too noisy.
Celebrated New Years with my loves
Spent sometime with my lovelies this Chinese New Year – it’s tough seeing me nowadays unless you come visit me at home – because I am hibernating. What I do is – go to work, gym and home. That’s basically my life – its way too cold to dress up and walk out the door. So staying home is the solution – I’m lazy to wear so many layers. What a lazy bum eh?
We celebrated with HOTPOT! Yumm – who doesn’t want hotpot in this freezing weather right? I can have it every day and any day if possible! It’s easy and its warm. I usually have it out with my other half to avoid the cleaning but this time we had it at my girlfriend’s place!
Tiffany Co Jewelries
I had to get my bracelet re-sized at Tiffany & Co – on the way there – I took a snapshot of this elegant grand piano. Isn’t it cute? I always love grand piano - I love how it looked so elegant and classy. I wish I learned piano when I was young but now it’s a bit too late. But for sure I’m going to let my future kid practice piano. Anyways – we did get some shopping done before getting my bracelet re-sized – I checked out some phaser 8560, some TNA pants and etc. Going to the mall for me nowadays can be quite dangerous! Well to my wallet is dangerous. I need to learn the self-control I used to have.
HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR 2011!!
I love buying Chinese New Year decorations because that’s another excuse in spending money! I even thought about buying new futon covers for the new years – maybe next year. But this time around – I didn’t buy any new decorations because I still have the ones I bought last year. Of course – the theme has to be Mickey Mouse & Minnie Mouse – everything’s gotta match in the house right? Most of the things are Mickey Mouse in the house now – it’s like a collection to us and it’s only going to be this way. If things don’t match – I’m not going to be really happy about it.
Anyways – quit talking about the theme. HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR EVERYONE! Wishing you all good health and luck this year – may the Rabbit year bring you lots of laughter and joy. I still don’t feel the Chinese New Year spirit yet – maybe because I didn’t receive any red pockets yet. My step-mom called me this afternoon to wish us a Happy Chinese New Year and I was still sleeping.
Guess what everyone? For next years Chinese New Year – we will be handing out red pockets to kids and relatives that are younger than us. I’m kind of excited? Something new to us and I can’t wait to look for Mickey Mouse & Minnie Mouse envelopes! LOL. Okay – enough talking. Have an awesome time with friends and families. Share your Chinese goodies because I don’t think I’m having any Chinese new year goodies this year! The in-laws don’t really eat it.
HAPPY WEEKEND!!
HURRAY FOR WEEKENDS! I’m excited for this weekend because I’ll be getting my hair trimmed and layer! I’ve waited long enough and my hair frustrates me because of the tangles. I can’t stand it anymore but I’m not cutting it short – still leaving it long. So that’s one of the exciting thing I’ll be doing this weekend. Another thing is – we’re having Japanese food – YUMMY! I don’t even remember the last time we had it – now that’s a long time if I don’t even remember. Another thing we’re doing this weekend is going downtown Toronto to meet up with his friend and maybe, JUST maybe do a little shopping there too. We’ll see how early we get there by since we have to get hair cut and eat Japanese food for lunch. This is a lot for a Saturday. HAPPY WEEKEND EVERYONE!
Work & Swimming @ YMCA
Today was a pretty awesome day to begin with – received a text message from my other half about the stock market – don’t get me wrong – I’m not involved with it but he is. His good news is my good news. I don’t know much about it – all I care is when it goes up and not down. The rest is left for him to decide. I believe stock market has it’s own risk – but I don’t want to be too naggy as long as he’s playing it safe. I would buy gold bullion instead of investing but they all have there own risk right? Anyways – getting back on my day – woke up around 12ish and took a shower than made lunch for myself. Had work for the rest of the day and then we went swimming at YMCA – now we are just chilling and I’m just finishing off some work. WOOHOO for day off tomorrow. I’m getting some awesome reviews for myself at work and will be increasing hours to full time hours soon. 2011 is getting better and better!
Back on track…
Ever since the holiday started for me and when my fiance is home more often because he took some days off from work – I’ve lost track on what day it is. Plus – work schedule changed a lot as well – just gotta get back to the routine schedule and I’ll feel more on track. It’ll take a week or two for the holiday mood to be gone – he’s going back to work in 2 days and I’m going to have my own “ME” time. It’s really not that I don’t like having my other half around – it just seems like I get more lazy because I have him to do this and that for me. I love spending time with him but he spoils me way too much.
2011 is here and I started the wedding planning to-do list already – yes it’s only January 2nd – I gotta get these things done and I got myself on the treadmill for 5MINUTES! Your probably thinking “what the heck?” – but yes – 5 minutes was already a pain in the ass for me – how am I going to do it every day? Why is loosing weight such a hard thing? I wish I have a better metabolism – so I won’t have all these extra weight! GRRR.
My day went pretty well – went into work for 6 hours – time went by pretty quickly and I only took an half an hour break when a girlfriend of mine came to visit me. Usually I would take 2 hours break – but I avoided that because I know I’ll be at the food court finding something to eat – the trick now is – I’m not going to bring any money to work – so I can’t buy junk food or fast food. After work – baby came to pick me up for dinner with his family. Had a very nice talk – I enjoy family talk with them a lot. Than we came home and watched 4 hours of TV while getting my face steam, nails done, and 5 minutes exercising (lol). Pretty awesome day – now it’s time for a movie and some cuddling with my other half.
My Christmas
How was everyone’s Christmas? I spent a very relaxing Christmas myself – just stayed home and spent time with his family and relatives. Plus – I ate all day too. Yes – those calories are gonna add up, but I can deal with it next year (which is in a couple of days.) It was a lazy and eating day for me – didn’t do any work – just enjoyed it to the max. In my dictionary – that is what you call a perfect Christmas. Getting to spend the entire day at home and with your love ones.
