Running out of space in the OFFICE!

Yep – that’s my office right there! Kind of messy but whenever I clean it up – the next day is a mess again. I can’t help it – there’s just too much stuff in there. No one goes into this office except myself and I just don’t understand how it can get into a mess so quickly! Even with three tables to work with??

Here’s table #1 – a mess eh? It’s my craft table with a bunch of crap on it right now and under this table has a little mini table to put things on. I just think I need more organizational storage space – so this mess will go away!

& Finally – my work table where I spend hours on working on my blogs and online work. This table gets messy too when there’s too much table on it. But as you can see – I have an extra table on the bottom to put stuff. Yes – that’s like a total of 5 tables for me to put stuff on? It’s funny because I’m the only one that uses this office and hubby doesn’t even have his own office. Well – his office is in the living room coffee table with only his laptop.

Here’s a little so-called table to put other things on. Nothing related to work or crafty stuff. Just candles, phone, and picture.

Here”s a shelf for my printer and filing boxes. I got this over Christmas – sort of a Christmas present from my other half. I wanted a printer shelf for a long long time now. It’s a lot more organized than before.

Pretty big office but its a heck of a mess! I gotta start cleaning up before this little guy comes along – I won’t have ANY time to spend in the office when he’s here. I’ll probably be up in his room and upstairs living room most of the time. Yes – sacrifices of having a kid but that’s life eh? I’ll still be working at home but not in front of my office – I’ll probably be having my laptop upstairs while taking care of a crying baby. That reminds me – I have two months to enjoy my sleep, freedom and spending alone times with the husband.

A bun in the oven

By looking at the picture – you would probably figured out what the gender is already right? I was quite shocked finding out a gender – never expected it to be a little boy. Took me a few days to sink that thought in me because I always expected a baby girl. A baby girl that would do every little girly things with me. But I guess everything is up to God right? There’s a reason for everything. I’m just upset that I can’t do the little girly things but I’m not disappointed at all. As long as our baby is healthy – we are happy.

I planned to finish off the baby room in October but looks like it’s going to be delayed till November. I just want everything to finished ahead of time – so I have nothing to worry about. I always plan ahead with life and that’s just me

Spending time with family

Its harder now to spend time with my family now especially when everyone busy with school and work! It’s not like before how everyone has the time. But no matter how busy my life gets – I still try to schedule a day for lunch with my step mom or have dinner with my brothers and sisters. Sometimes we don’t even see each other for the entire month. Or maybe see each other 10 times a year? It’s crazy like that – we just gotta adapt to everyone’s busy life.

Acne Treatments

It’s weird because I don’t recall having any acne on my face when I was in my teen years but my brother on the other hand is a different story. I really wonder where he gets it from? From my mother’s gene? But I don’t quite remember that. Recently – I’ve searched up zenmed reviews to get some tips on how to remove acne fast because my brother is one of the groomsmen for our wedding! I want him to look his best. Looks like I gotta keep searching for the best product out there because apparently Proactive don’t work for him! Any tips and suggestions?

Church Retreat tomorrow morning!!

Church Retreat tomorrow! This means I gotta wake up extra early tomorrow – waking up early is not for ME! I love my sleep and I sleep about 10 hours a day – I still do. I know – I know – it’s not good to sleep so much but I do think everyone’s different with there sleeping habits right? I would say 11AM is a really good time for me to wake up – but that’s if I have work in the afternoon. This is something that it’s just so hard to change. If I have a kid – that’s a total different story. If I have a kid that goes to school in the morning – my sleeping schedule would totally change to waking up at 6:30AM in the morning to make the husband and the kid’s breakfast and shoot them out the door. But for now – I get to enjoy my sleep till whenever I want. I believe in breakfast in the morning – it’s just that now I feel like if I don’t have to wake up in the morning – why do it right? Do you wake up in early mornings? I do – but once a week or twice a week!

My Wedding Planner

Look what I created? Everything that I need for planning the BIG day is on this. From checklist to time line, my guest list, his guest list, out law’s guest list, in laws guest list, church program and you name it. This is like my MAGIC book that I created for myself to be organized and stay on track with every little detail. I’m a very detailed person – I look into every detail myself and not that I don’t trust ANYONE – it’s just my personality – I just want it to be as perfect as it can be. If I were to find a wedding planner to do this for me – I think I would be doing 90% of her work instead because I’m the woman that wants to know every exact thing. I’m a little crazy – don’t you think?

I’ve been hosting parties and I’ve been pretty organized with all the parties I’ve hosted but ONE thing I hate about hosting parties is the mess – so thank goodness I no longer have to deal with the mess after our wedding party. Everything is looking into place now and we have a time line to follow. Can’t wait to check off everything off the time line. Did you have a time line for you to follow with your wedding planning? Thank goodness that we are not going through stress with this (YET) – hopefully stress won’t come up!!

HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR 2011!!

I love buying Chinese New Year decorations because that’s another excuse in spending money! I even thought about buying new futon covers for the new years – maybe next year. But this time around – I didn’t buy any new decorations because I still have the ones I bought last year. Of course – the theme has to be Mickey Mouse & Minnie Mouse – everything’s gotta match in the house right? Most of the things are Mickey Mouse in the house now – it’s like a collection to us and it’s only going to be this way. If things don’t match – I’m not going to be really happy about it.

Anyways – quit talking about the theme. HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR EVERYONE! Wishing you all good health and luck this year – may the Rabbit year bring you lots of laughter  and joy. I still don’t feel the Chinese New Year spirit yet – maybe because I didn’t receive any red pockets yet. My step-mom called me this afternoon to wish us a Happy Chinese New Year and I was still sleeping.

Guess what everyone? For next years Chinese New Year – we will be handing out red pockets to kids and relatives that are younger than us. I’m kind of excited? Something new to us and I can’t wait to look for Mickey Mouse & Minnie Mouse envelopes! LOL. Okay – enough talking. Have an awesome time with friends and families. Share your Chinese goodies because I don’t think I’m having any Chinese new year goodies this year! The in-laws don’t really eat it.

Birthday gift for his mama

I already thought of a birthday present for my soon-to-be mother-in-law. It’s a necklace that says “MOM” on it. Isn’t it cute? I mean – my other half and his brother would NEVER thought of a present like this, because men aren’t as thoughtful as women. It’s always good to have a daughter eh? I want a daughter myself but whatever comes our way – we’ll love our child. I’m already thinking of a present for her birthday this year – when she becomes 60 – I gotta find the best 60th birthday gifts for her, because 60 is a really special number. Now this makes me wonder what I’m going to be receiving when I turn 60. lol.

GNC Boxing Gloves

Isn’t this the best Christmas present? We were planning to get his brother an MP3 players but we came across these gloves. We never thought of giving such present really but one day we walk by and I saw these gloves. My fiance’s brother is into wrestling and maybe boxing too? So we got this for him – surprisingly he loved it. If he didn’t like it – I would just return it and get him something else at GNC – they have some unique presents there. But thank goodness he loves it – saves us a lot of brain cells eh? Picking out present for males are one of the HARDEST thing on earth. What did you get your brother-in laws? brothers? other half?

The extra calories on Christmas day

This is what we had for lunch on Christmas day – there were so much food!

Dark chocolate shots for us – it was actually very bitter and tasted like medicine to me. Totally not my thing – but I learned that dark chocolate is good for your health. Do you like dark chocolate too? I like the sweeter one – but of course sweeter ones equals to lots of calories right? Hahaha. We had cake and ice cream with it too.

Our dinner for the night – lots of good food eh? I was so so so full at the end of the day. We ate at least three times. Lunch, snack break, appetizer break and dinner time. Oh my gosh – I’m scared to go on the weight tracker thingy now! It was seriously being lazy at home and just plain eating all day long. I didn’t cook anything because I was lazy – so my fiance’s aunt and mom prepared everything. Everything was deliciously made

We had a special guest too! Isn’t she adorable? Her name is Boomer What a cutie eh? Looks like a stuff toy in this picture. She actually stood still for this picture. So hard to take pictures with dogs – jeez. She behaved really well – except for the little accident.
