Mother-in-laws Birthday

Yeppers – mother-in-law is officially a grandma this year for her birthday. We celebrated her birthday with having dinner with her and buying her a cake that says “Happy Birthday Grandma” – thought it would be cute because it’s her first year being a grandma. Grandparents are always happy meeting their first grandchild huh? Munchkin doesn’t really see his grandparents much – even though we do live in the same house but we live downstairs and he’s always sleeping during the day. But when he gets older – he’s sleeping upstairs and I hope he can bond with his grandparents and see them more when he’s older.

Bestfriends’ daughter’s one month celebration

The two little munchkin is almost the same age – they are only 2 weeks apart. It’s funny how we got pregnant almost at the same time and I’ve known this girl for so many years. It’s just too bad we live so far – don’t get to see her and her baby girl much. If we live closer – our kids can grow up together.

Bio Oil for Stretch Marks

I’ve been using Bio-Oil to get rid of my stretch marks from my pregnancy. I used it before and after the pregnancy but not very constant. I’ve heard really good stuff about this product but the thing is – I just gotta use it every day and twice a day. I better start getting into an habit of applying this oil or else I won’t be wearing any cute bikini or sexy lingerie. Any other more tips on how to get rid of stretch marks?

Enjoying Motherhood

I’ve always dreamed of being a young mother and yep – my dream sure did come true. No one said raising a kid is easy and I never thought that way. If I did think that way – I think I will be pulling my hair out by now. It’s not an easy job being a mother and I was prepared for that. Having a kid is a life time commitment because you are constantly worrying and worrying about them. Even if they are 30 – you are still worrying.

Although this job as a mother is SUPER tiring – I’m still enjoying every bit of it. Munchkin is a month old today and he’s been an alright-baby. Not too fussy and doesn’t need to be hold 24/7. From the day he was born to three weeks old – he’s been an easy baby to take care of because all he did was eat, sleep, and poop. No fuss at all – I even have time to do some organizing and cleaning around the house. But after three weeks – it got a bit harder because he’s awake more and he moves more. I’ll be more busy when he knows how to crawl and walk! That’s the life of motherhood right? Can’t complain.

Monthly Pampering

I say – the hardest job is being a “mom” because you are constantly worrying about this and that. I’ve gotten my husband into getting a massage bi-weekly now and he loves it. He used to be very reluctant to go for a massage because of pain but after the first time – there’s no saying “no” anymore. How can you resist a massage when it feels so good afterwards right? I enjoy massage since I was at a young age and it’s just a type of pampering. Being at home with a newborn and at the same time getting my blogging work done can get overwhelming too. But I never forget to pamper myself at the end of the week by getting a massage or facial done. It’s just part of life – you gotta pamper yourself to reboot your energy right? Don’t forget to treat yourself to something nice after a long week of work!

Scrapbooking Fun

This is my other hobby – scrapbook fun! Gives me another excuse to collect things too. Ever since I was pregnant – I’ve stopped working and just stayed home. Well not stay home every day kind of thing – I did go out with friends and families. I’ve also kept myself super busy on focusing my life with blogging. In another word – I took it more serious this time because I do want it to get somewhere with my life. This nine months flew by like a flash because of the hectic/busy schedule I set myself up to. I mean – it’s not bad – I do like it because time flies. But with all the work I pile myself up with – I still gave myself some fun time too. Spending time with friends, organizing and scrap-booking!

If you enjoy cutting things with scissors and making things look nice – scrap-booking is for you too!

Planning ahead with 2012

Have you planned ahead with your schedule yet? 2012 already and it’s MARCH! 1/4 of the year just flew by like a blink of an eye. I cannot imagine how 2013 will be like for us. Or will there ever be 2013? LOL – do you believe in 2012 end of the world? Well – I mean – if it’s going to happen – it will right? I’m not too afraid of it because I feel like I’ve accomplished a lot already in the past couple of years. But no matter what happens – life still goes on. This year is another fast year that’s going by – 2011 was crazy fast. Will time ever slow down for us? Or am I just planning too far up ahead?

Couple Cellphones :: Blackberry Curve 8520

Look what I got my hubby? Yeppers – the same phone as mine. He was using an LG phone before and that phone makes me mad. I don’t get WHY LG makes cellphones that doesn’t even have reception? Like what the heck? What’s the point of making a phone with no reception? when I can’t get a hold of my husband – I get really mad because the call just wouldn’t go through. So after I changed my phone – I realized the reception on this Blackberry isn’t too bad – so I got him one too. Now I can finally get a hold of my husband by just calling him! Geez – LG step up your game here!

The Smart Way To Find A Mortgage

The time has come and you’re either moving home or taking the plunge and getting involved on the property ladder. Whichever way you are going about things, it is important that you understand that finding a mortgage is tough but there are smart things to do when searching. With mortgage rates in Canada continually changing, it can be hard work to know where to go for the best deal. Save those precious dollars by taking a look through the many things that can change the mortgage you will get.

Get your own house in order

The first thing to look at, before you even consider what rates and terms you are after, is how you are going to look when put in front of a lender. Have you had loans and mortgages before or is this the first time? This is a big question because it’s your history that counts, and what debts you’ve had before – and paid off – are often the difference between whether you are approved for a mortgage or not. Get your credit in order, and understand what you can afford.

Check how the market is looking

It might seem simpler to just head straight into your bank and take the loan that they offer, but that’s not really how it works. Finding the best mortgage rates in Canada is all about assessing your options and knowing where you should look to get the greatest range of terms and rates. When you are borrowing so much more than you earn, it’s crucial that you take the time to ensure that you’re getting the best terms and advice on what you need.

Understand both the decision making and how to be approved

This is all part of sorting out your credit report and making the calculations to show that you are ready for a mortgage. Obviously, the higher your credit score is then the easier it is to get money, however if it’s low then you have a difficult time working through the process. Make sure that you know what should be in the application and why your credit is what it is. If you’re unsure, ask an expert.

So, what’s your strategy?

Brokers and consultants are good options for creating your strategies because the truth is that nobody knows the future of Canadian interest rates. What’s more is that the changing economic climate mixed with your personal situation and goals means that you will need a unique, bespoke strategy when looking for the best mortgage rates in Canada.

Be sure that you consider the cycle of interests – raising, stable or declining? Try to see what is expected for the next decade. And, finally, are you going to go for a long-term mortgage, work it five by five years or pay more upfront than is required? You know your situation, it’s time to take a decision and move to your perfect home!

Our Memories

Collage is finally put together and hung on the wall last month! Took me quite sometime to get my bum moving and to put collage like this on the wall. I’m pretty proud of my work here. It took me about an hour to put pictures together. It’s not only about putting them together – taking the time to pick out the pictures was quite hard too. These collage only has pictures of us. The first one is the pre-wedding phtoos, second is wedding day morning and church, third is wedding reception, and fourth is the past 3 years of us only.

I’m planning to get more of these frames for the future – so in our future home we’ll be having more hung up with little Jayden in them. It’s going to be neat :)
